Mr. Scott Melville

The 2023-2024 School Year will be my twenty-third year at Wheatland-Chili,.  I truly enjoy being both a resident as well as an employee of this school district, where I am able to serve as the Dean of Students, teach Driver Education, serve as curriculum leader (department chair), advise clubs, and occasionally coach sports.

This year I work as the Dean of Students - assisting with discipline as well as restorative practices to help each students reach their potential.  I also manage our district's access to APEX - an online credit recovery program.

I have taught both special class and co-taught classes at Wheatland-Chili, and most frequently teach in the area of Math and Resource Room.  I also advise the High School Ski Club (while Mrs. Melville advises Middle School Ski Club), the High School Student Council, and I co-advise the High School Yearbook with Mrs. Melville as well.  In the past I have coached Modified Soccer, Junior Varsity Basketball and Modified and Varsity Track and Field.

In my spare time, you may find me camping in the Southern Tier, cruising around on our beat-up boat or my vintage truck, skiing or simply playing outdoors...and always doing these things with my wife Megan (who teaches Art here at W-C and co-advises each club with me) as well as with my three sons and two stepdaughters.
