At the Secondary Building:
Wheatland-Chili Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 within the secondary school building. Here there is an emphasis on team teaching and extra support for students during the transition from elementary to high school programming. Teachers meet regularly with one another, with administration, with parents as partners and with students in and out of the classroom setting. Academic intervention and enrichment are built into the school day schedule for all students so that differing needs are met by differentiated instruction.
Wheatland-Chili High School serves students in grades 9-12. There is a broad range of academic programs for students to choose from including online courses as well as dual credit options, allowing students to earn college credit while in high school. Students also choose to take part in occupational, technical, and New Visions programs through the regional Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES. To meet individualized needs, we offer a full counseling suite as well as a Student Support Center (SSC) to assist students in a supportive environment. Wheatland-Chili students also benefit from a range of extra curricular activities. Student performances and athletic events are a focal point for the community.
