Parents and Guardians of Wheatland-Chili Middle/High School Students,

Welcome back to the 2022-2023 school year!  My name is Camille Zitz, and I am ecstatic to be the new Principal and to be joining the Wheatland-Chili Wildcat family.  In the last couple of weeks, I have been meeting with staff as well as my District colleagues learning about the wonderful opportunities available to students and the things that make our school and community so special. I cannot wait to meet your child(ren) and to work with them this upcoming school year.

This school year will be my 16th year in education.  The first seven were spent as a Social Studies teacher in the Rochester City School District.  After that, I had the honor of serving as Assistant Principal of Young Women's College Prep Charter School of Rochester and, most recently, as the Assistant Principal of Grades 5-8 at International School #45 in Buffalo, N.Y.  I believe these experiences have given me a solid foundation to now serve you and your children as we partner to make their educational experience a positive and transformational one.

The incredible staff here at Wheatland-Chili Middle/High School will be returning soon for professional development to uphold the high expectations communicated through our Code of Character, Conduct, and Support and reflect our District Core Values.  We will continue to focus on incorporating social emotional support, diversity, equity, and inclusion and restorative practices in our daily lessons and collaborate on how best to utilize data to push student growth and ensure rigorous instruction for all students.
