The mission of the 6-12 Grade Visual Arts Department is based on the NYS standards for the Visual Arts. Students are introduced to a variety of media and techniques that develop, challenge, enhance and contribute to creative thinking, problem solving and individual expression. The recognition of the universal human need for visual expression is explored through studies of cultural and historical contributions of the visual arts.
