Family & Consumer Science

The goal of Family & Consumer Science at Wheatland-Chili High School is to educate all students with the knowledge and practice of everyday life skills.  

The demands on young people preparing for an adult life have increased, as have the pressures for men and women to assume different roles. All students need a foundation in home and career skills management. Family & Consumer Science courses are designed to prepare students with management, consumer, and human development skills.
