Mrs. Savage
This is my 38th year in the Wheatland-Chili School District! Wheatland is a wonderful school in a community with fun and talented students! I am looking forward to another great year! This year I am teaching: Computer Graphics, Photography, Drawing/Painting, Portfolio and AP Studio Art. I am also the High School Art Club Advisor and the High School National Honor Society Advisor.
I believe we should never stop learning! So a little about my educational experience: I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a B.S. in Art Education and from Nazareth College of Rochester with a M.S. in Art Education. I continue to expand my knowledge in the field of art and education by attending workshops and art conferences. I love sharing my love of the arts and my love of teaching. For ten years, I was an adjunct assistant professor at Roberts Wesleyan College. I continue to enjoy having student teachers and mentoring new teachers at Wheatland. I am active in the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA). I am a Past President of the NYSATA and am co-advocacy chair. I also serve on the NYS Education Arts Content Advisory Panel (CAP).
Personally, I am married, and have two grown children, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
