BOCES is the abbreviation for Board of Cooperative Educational Services. Wheatland-Chili belongs to Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES (BOCES 2), located in nearby Spencerport. High School students have the opportunity to enroll in one of approximately 30 courses at the WEMOCO Career and Technical Center at BOCES 2. All courses, including areas such as automotive, business, construction, industrial and agricultural programs, combine academic training with “on-the-job” experience. Students who attend BOCES spend one-half day in the school classroom at Wheatland-Chili and are transported to BOCES for their occupational and technical classes for the other half day.

Additional programs for students such as Career Education Internships and New Visions are also available to our students through BOCES.
