High School Art Club is open to any student in grades 9-12 with a desire and interest to engage in art related activities. While opportunities are given for students to participate in creating personal artwork in areas of individual interest, students are also encouraged to build awareness of the role art plays in the community and society. Participation in art contests, involvement with exhibits, and hallway mural painting extend the clubs work into the school community and beyond.

The purpose of Art Club is to give students who are enrolled in art classes additional opportunities to work on projects of individual interest and to also allow students not enrolled in art classes to engage in the creation of artwork. In addition, art club highlights and promotes artist, artists and artwork to the school community. Meetings are held in Mrs.Savage's artroom at 2:15.
