Newspaper and Creative Writing Club!

Description:
The HS Newspaper and Creative Writing Club is open to any student in grades 9-12 interested in writing/producing. Acceptable submissions include, but are not limited to short paragraph pieces, essays, creative fiction, poetry, song lyrics, video presentations, etc. All posts will be edited and revised by club members and then posted on Wheatland-Chili's Club page through the district website.

Purpose:
The purpose of this club is to give students a wide variety of writing opportunities.


Expected Outcomes:
Outcome 1: Students write for a wide and diverse audience.
Outcome 2: Students write based on their own interests.
Outcome 3: Students have the opportunity to write creatively and enter writing contests or submit writing for scholarships.


Meetings will be held in Mr. Glass' room.
