Wheatland-Chili Middle School Student Council gives students the opportunity to have a voice in making their middle school experience an exciting and meaningful one.
Purposes
The purposes of the Wheatland-Chili Middle School Student Council is to- Promote school spirit
- Take an active role in the improvement plans for the school.
- Assist with school activities and events
- Promote positive attitudes of scholarship through example.
- Provide activities that build school pride in students and faculty.
- Plan and participate in activities for the betterment of the community.
Membership
All students enrolled in Wheatland-Chili Middle School as sixth, seventh, or eighth graders may be members of the Wheatland-Chili Middle School Student Council.Executive Board
The Executive Board shall consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The executive board is established by elections held in September or October. All members are eligible to be nominated to the Executive Board.National Student Council
Wheatland-Chili Middle School Student Council is a member of the National Student Council.
Goals
Annual goals, activities, and events are determined each year by Student Council with input from the student body and adviser.
Meetings
The Wheatland-Chili Middle School meets monthly. Additional meetings are scheduled for the planning and implementing of special activities and events.
