STAR (Students Together Against Racism)

This is a club open to all 4^th and 5^th graders.  It aligns with the New York State Education Department's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) mandate.  The goals of the STAR Club go hand-in-hand with our district's vision for social/emotional learning (SEL).  STAR Club students will collaborate with our SEL committee in creating bulletin boards and school-wide activities and learning opportunities. Ultimately, the STAR club will expand students’ knowledge of race and culture in our society. There is a companion STAR Club in place at the Middle/High School.

Mrs. Pasquantonio and Mrs. Spindel are the advisors.  This club meets monthly, typically on Wednesdays after school.
