Federal Stimulus Funding Plan
The Wheatland-Chili Central School District has been allocated approximately $2.7 million in Federal relief funding as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act and the American Rescue Plan (ARP). The federal funding can be used to support several non-recurring expenses associated with needs brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds must be allocated and used over a three-year time period.
A public hearing was held on June 2, 2021 to gather input on Wheatland-Chili’s intended use of the federal stimulus funding. The video can be found below. The District also invited comments through June 10, 2021.
Below please find an overview of the District’s plan for the spending. There is a link to the presentation on the intended expenditures, as well as to the public hearing. Also, attached is the CRRSA application that was submitted to NYSED indicating the intended use of those specific funds.
Thank you for the valuable input that we received and for your ongoing support and willingness to engage with the District as we work through the creation and implementation of these plans.
