Middle School/High School Community Outreach Committee Hosts CURE Penny Drive

The Middle School/High School Community Outreach Committee hosted a Penny Drive for the CURE Childhood Cancer Association. The friendly competition was held between the three lunch periods and the winning lunch would receive an ice cream treat. Here are the totals: Lunch A: $33.58; Lunch B: $103.44 and Lunch C: $91.92. Lunch B was declared the winners with the total donated to CURE being $228.94. All donations were collected from March 1 to March 15. CURE Representatives Allison Magoulas (left) and Mariah Staheli accepted the donation and thanked the committee and school community as follows: “Thank you for all your support for CURE; it is so appreciated and so meaningful for us to have your school involved. All proceeds benefit cancer research.” The members of the Middle School/High School Community Outreach Committee are Danielle Bartl, Sarah Reiman, Judie Cady, and Nicholas Roche.
